The first page of the invitation also features honorary chairman LeBron James as well as co-chair members Colman Domingo, Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton, rapper A$AP Rocky, singer Pharrell Williams and Anna Wintour. The theme of the Met Gala 2025 is Superfine: Tailoring Black Style. He also said that the invitation was for just one person. He compared it to the 'per plate' spending system of Indian weddings and said, "Per person, per plate da hisaab hai".

The 2025 Met Gala will be held in New York on the evening of May 5. Apart from Diljit Dosanjh, other Indians like Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra and Kiara Advani are also expected to grace the red carpet.

He is also awaiting the release of 'Punjab 95', which is based on the life of human rights activist Jaswant Singh Khalra. The film has been delayed due to issues with the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).
